Update from MEME

Canon rested well last night. His day started off rocky with a temp and his left lung being down. He is still on Bi-pap and getting regular scheduled breathing treatments. He has had some irregularities on his monitor today which the doctors are watching very closely! He recieved a package a couple of days ago from his "TEXAS CANON FAMILY" which along with some other great things contained a book about a baseball HERO. I began to read this book to him this afternoon and amazingly his persistent longing for sprite subsided as he listen to my reading, until of course I was at the end of the book. Hugs and kisses to Canon Perkins and his special family for all your thoughtfulness. Tonight Canon is resting comfortably and no longer has fever, his lung sounds better although it is still down and his irregularities on his heart monitor have slowed down. Today I would put in the rocky but good day column. MEME

Drew and Chandra are sweet like that always thinking of others in their time of need. I have been blessed to have their friendship and thankful that they led me to you guys. I am praising God tonight! Literally from the moment I woke and through out the day I have prayed for Canon. I continue to pray. I take these small changes that you listed as a sign that our prayers are being heard. I pray that his little lung will be working fully and that his fever continues to go down. Thank you for keep us posted.
God bless

That is very good news, ideed!

I will continue to pray and bring Canon's plight to the attention of some women who are gathering for a retreat this weekend. I shall ask prayer for Canon.

I will look forward to returning in a couple of days to check in on him.

May God grant him comfort and progress and his dear family peace and strength.

I'm so glad to hear that Canon got a good night's sleep and that he enjoyed listening to the book about a baseball hero.

He remains in my prayers!

Hi - I've just heard about little Canon and his story and thought I'd let you know I'm also praying. May God bless you, Carla, and your family, with abundant financial blessings, for Canon to recover completely and live to be 100, with comfort and peace. May God continue to give you strength for every day and every hour. My heart breaks for your pain and struggles but may God's glory shine through this and allow us to witness a complete recovery.

Blessings and love,

Father God

we come before your throne of grace and mercy, peace and healing and we thank you for this beautiful day. We thank you for Canon and the joy that was brought into this world on the day he was born.

Father God we ask that you would bathe him in the blood of the Lamb and lift from him any infirmary that may linger. We ask that you would let this new heart be fully accepted by his body. We ask that you would rejuvenate the rest of his organs, his complete system and you would breathe new life into him as you did via Ezekiel (eze 37:1-9)into the dry bones .. then bring abundant life to Canon. Let run, jump and do all the things that a 4 yr old should do

now we thank you Father for all you will do

it is your name

Jehovah Rapha
(The Lord Who Heals)
that we pray
amen and amen
