I want to thank everyone for showing such an outpour of support to my family the last two days. This has meant the world to me and my family. These are things you hear that happen to other people and not to you. I feel so empty inside and very sad. The loss of a child is an undescribable pain. I am going to need you all to help me get through this tough time. Life is very short! Make the most out of your life just like Canon did. Please pray for my family and especially my two children, who have lost their bubba. Love to all, Carla Norman and Family

You are in my prayers! I can't even imagine what you are going through but I will walk with you via prayer. I have been praying that God would show Himself in a mighty way to you the next few weeks, months years. I prayed for you yesterday to have the strength to meet and greet everyone that came to pay their respects. Don't feel like you have to "get over it" or forget. Your life will now be forever changed. It is okay to remember and to celebrate Canon's life the way you choose. I have watched many people loose a loved one and that seems to be the running theme-"when are you going to move on?" Those are the people who don't know really what you are feeling so ignore them. Each person handles grief differently-there is no right way. So cry-don't cry, laugh-don't laugh, talk-or remain silent. It is YOUR CHOICE. Carla, you are in my prayers! God bless you!

My family has been praying for your family since right before the transplant. We will continue to do so. I agree with Susan, Please don't get rushed through your healing process. It is different for everyone.

In Exodus, God is speaking to the Isrealites and giving them hope. He says, You see how I bore you on Eagle's wings and carried you to Myself. I love the visual of that. Canon has been born up on the wing on an eagle and is now dancing with Jesus, celebrating.

I am praying for you!

Carla,
I found out about Canon a little too late to pray for him. Yet, I can definitely uphold you and your family in prayer. I believe, Heather from FaithLifts was going to write you and let you know that a whole host of ladies are praying for you. In fact, she had us write out prayers for you on our blogs on Monday as part of a "meme." Mine is up if you wish to read it. I will continue to pray for you whenever you and your family come to mind. I have a daughter with multiple heart issues and I have had my own scares so I can appreciate some of the feelings you may have felt along your journey but not in their entirety. May God be the strength of your heart in these hard times. God bless you!

I was thinking about what you are going thru and all I could thing of was ice cream, comic books and a bubble bath... I was wondering if you have taken a nice hot bubble bath lately.. you certainly deserve one... maybe some candles...

a bowl of ice cream can be a something to just have... and a comic book is a place to just spend some time , where you do not have to thing.. give your self a break.. It has been a ... well you know.. The team at Midnight Ministry continues to hold you in prayer

Yet I was just thinking about ways to take your mind off everything...

I can't imagine the thoughts that run thru your mind .. but know this .. you are loved... you have Canon siblings who need you to be there and in time you will.. they probably need comic books and ice cream..

bless you... you truly are a champion...

you have blessed me every day since I started visiting this blog..

I was invited by a visitor to my website and they had been invited to pray in their church

amazing from my corner of the world in the south Central Part of British Columbia Canada.. My prayers are with you

All I can say is... May God give you comfort and the strength to bear your loss. Canon is not here now; when he went to be with Jesus he also moved into your future. What a glorious day that will be. God bless you and your family.

Carla,

If I cannot forget you and your children, though I am weak and small, the God will not forget you either. I know that I am not the only one who talks to Him about you every day. He do for you what all of the rest of us wish that we could - He will help you through everything that comes. May His love provide you with all that you are going to need.

I am so sorry for your pain and your loss.
