Fever Still Up!

Today Canon is still running a fever. It ranges from 102-103. He is very weak and sleeps a lot. Tylenol is given every four hours, but it doesn't make a big difference. Doctors started him on more antibiotics and a viral medicine. They are still puzzled at the cause. Canon is eating some jello, yogurt, and drinking a small amount of sprite every four hours. I'm worn out with the whole hospital thing. It looks like were going to be here for a while.

Carla-I am praying, hang in there-cling to God. I will pray that He reveals Himself to you in a mighty way these next few days. Especially with Canon's fever-"Lord bring this fever down!"

God Bless
Susan

Carla,

As I sit here typing this, I still don't know what I'm going to say, or for that matter what I want to say. Your comment about being tired of the "whole hospital thing" really resonated with me. We were only in the hospital a week with Canon, and the days still just blurred together. I cannot imagine how worn out you are after these long weeks. However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Even if you can't see it, it is there. Your endurance may be tested, but you WILL have the energy to make it. Canon (my Canon) and I pray for your strength as often as we pray for Canon's strength and healing. Hang in there! Feel God's strength.

Matthew 11:28-30

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

I hope that tomorrow morning you wake up with a light burden and a rested soul.

Still praying,
Drew

God gives us the grace to get thru LONGGGG hospital stays. I've been there with all 5 of my kiddos each had situations 2 times each so far....Ashton is our newest addition and he was in NICU for 8 days in August and that was hard. I look back and think how did I do it? It's called LOVE! We sacrifice ourselves for our wee ones if at all possible. I'm prayong for strength for you and healing for Canon. A friend from across the miles....
