Canon's drain tube in his head had to replaced today due to high blood pressures. The doctor feels this will help relieve the pressure on his head and lower his blood pressure. He is still very critical. Canon is still swollen from all the fluids being pushed into his body. Fluid overload can be hard on his heart and lungs. The right side of his body is very weak.. The neurologist thinks he can overcome this. The path Canon takes is up to him. This has been such a shock! I am trying so hard to be positive. I need your continued prayers to help me get through this. Carla

Prayers are still being said on your behalf. I can't even begin to imagine how awful this is for you. My step-niece has had several open heart surgeries and my family has spent lots of time in the intensive care waiting room at Children's. I know you don't know me, but please let me know if there is ANYTHING else I can do for you. Teresa keeps our homeschool group up to date on Canon's progress.

Carla-continue to lean on God and your friends. This moment in your life is where the rubber meets the road. We go to church-we learn about faith and God but we don't really understand until we have been there. Stay strong. Your little family is always on my heart and in my prayers. I pray that God will place his healing touch on Canon's body. I know that God is the only one that has the power of healing. Carla keep up the faith and know that God has His arms around all of you. The two of you are always in my thoughts and prayers. He is such a precious little boy and I know that there is nothing like a mother's love and God's love to comfort you and make you strong. Canon, Kameron and Chase are very lucky to have you for a mom, you are a very strong woman. I cannot imagine what you and your family are going through, but remember that God will not give you more than you can handle. I know that right now it feels like you can't handle anymore but you have lots of family and friends that love you and Canon very much to lean on.
